Consular services of the embassy are competent for all matters concerning the civil status of families and individuals. As such, even marriages can be celebrated. Please note that the Embassy does not accept cash, only bank transfer (see Bank contact). The Embassy also issues the following certificates:
- Certificate of birth
- Certificate of celibacy
- Certificate of complete identity
- Travel Permit
For the documents below, the consular services help you to fill and hand in the application to the qualified services:
- A new passport
- Criminal-record certificate
- Nationality
The consular services are also authorised to certify copies of an original document and the authentication of signatures. Additional information The documents can be issued only to persons that have already registered themselves with the embassy. For this purpose, you should fill in the registration form below and sending it to us. Registration-forms can be downloaded here. (PDF 523 kb) For the issuing of birth- and celibacy certificates the Embassy needs appropriate Rwandan documents as basis. The following requirements are valid for all certificates:
- Application letter with relevant information
- Photocopy of the passport
- Payment of fifteen Euro (15,- €)
